I have cleared both ORE Part 1 and Part 2. Am I eligible to apply for a role with Alliance Dental Group?
Yes! If you have successfully passed both ORE Part 1 and Part 2, you are eligible to apply for GDC registration. Once your GDC registration is complete, you can begin practising in the UK. We will also assist you with your NHS performer number application, which is required to work under the NHS, and provide you with an approved PLVE Validation Supervisor to support you through the process.
What are the next steps once I’ve cleared ORE Part 2 and received my GDC registration?
Once you have received your GDC registration, you can begin practising as a dentist in the UK. At Alliance Dental Group, we will guide you through your PLVE application and support your smooth transition into your role as a Performer under conditions.
Is there room for career progression within the Alliance Dental Group?

How long does the recruitment process take?
The recruitment process typically takes a few weeks, depending on the completion of the required documentation and your GDC registration status. Our team will keep you updated and provide support throughout each stage of the process.
I’ve applied for my GDC registration. Can I still apply?
Yes, you can apply for the job if you have already applied for GDC registration. We are supportive of professionals working through the registration process and offer guidance during this phase. However, you can start practicing only after obtaining your GDC number.
Can I get assistance with obtaining an NHS Performer Number?
Yes, Alliance Dental offers guidance in securing your NHS Performer Number. This is essential for working in NHS dental services, and we’ll support you through the process.
How do I register with the GDC after passing the LDS/ORE?
To register with the GDC after passing the LDS/ORE, you need to submit the required documents, including proof of your LDS/ORE qualification, identification, and other relevant certifications, directly to the GDC.
Do I need to clear all parts of the LDS/ORE exam?
Yes, LDS and ORE consists of multiple parts (typically Part 1, Part 2), and you must pass all parts to qualify for GDC registration and be eligible to work with Alliance Dental.
Who will guide me after getting the joining offer?
We provide comprehensive support and guidance for the further documentation required for your joining. Our team will assist you every step of the way.
Will any support be provided before I start practicing?
Yes, we offer free workshops to ensure you are fully prepared before you begin practising. These include clinical and procedural workshops tailored to the NHS environment and regulatory requirements.
What about the visa and compliance requirements?
We provide end-to-end guidance for all the documents required for your visa application and Certificate of Sponsorship (COS). You can rely on our team to ensure a smooth process.
Which type of visa will I get ?
You will receive a Skilled Worker Visa (Self Employed) , which is valid for three years or five years.
Are there any additional benefits for overseas dentists?
In addition to visa and compliance support, we provide advice and local insights to help you with relocation, finding accommodation, and integrating into the NHS system. Our goal is to make your transition to the UK as smooth as possible.
Can I work in both private and NHS practices?
Yes, once you have obtained your GDC registration and NHS Performer Number, you can work in both private and NHS practices, subject to the terms of your contract.
